Your Petitioners are rezident berchants leivil Engineer Architects Purveyors and Rolicitors carrying burinere at Victoria in the bolony of stongkong areland owners to a large extent in the said loolony.
Your Petitioners attention having been drawn to the Government Notification N$ 655 in the Hongkong Government Gazette of the 3th December 1887 beg leave to bring the following fact to your Excellency's notice.

manner resulting on a Raving of their time and acting at a Rafe quard for themselves or their conclituents as the case may be and that if your Excellency refused to receive commmmcations from the Rolicitors for and on behalf of their clients the General Lublic will be put to very great inconvenience and Ruffer great love of time and expence as itruil recervitate their first entmitting every letter which
